The Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 is a compact 8-inch subwoofer built to deliver deep, tight bass without demanding much floor space, using a long-throw 200mm paper/Aramid fiber cone driver in a sealed, closed-box enclosure for fast, controlled low end rather than the looser output of a ported design. Setup is handled through straightforward RCA line-level and speaker-level inputs, with onboard controls for volume, low-pass filter frequency, bass extension, and phase alignment so it can be dialed in to match a specific room and speaker pairing. A 12V trigger input allows automatic power-on with a connected AV receiver, and auto-sense standby keeps power draw low when idle. At roughly 10 inches wide and tall, it's sized to disappear into smaller rooms or apartments, and it's available in matte black or matte white cabinets with black or grey grille options to match different décor.
