The Focal 100 Series ICW8 is the largest speaker in Focal's ICW ceiling range, built around an 8-inch Polyglass midbass in a 2-way coaxial design for hi-fi-grade sound from a single in-ceiling location. Its bigger driver pushes frequency response down to a 40Hz low-frequency point with 90dB sensitivity, giving it noticeably more bass and output than the compact 6.5-inch IC6ST, and it's rated for amplifiers between 25 and 150 watts to make full use of that headroom. Focal designs it for both stereo listening and home cinema installations, positioning it as a versatile choice for larger rooms or as part of a broader multi-room ceiling speaker system rather than a single-room accent speaker.
