In Greek mythology the windy island of Delos was once uninhabitable as it floated aimlessly in the rough Aegean Sea until the Greek god Poseidon anchored the floating island in its place on four granite columns to provide a safe place for Leto to give birth to the twin gods Apollo and Artemis.
The IsoAcoustics Delos Series is a line of premium turntable isolation platforms built to decouple a turntable from structural vibrations that interfere with stylus tracking, revealing more clarity and detail from vinyl playback. Each platform pairs a thick solid butcher-block top — available in maple or walnut — with IsoAcoustics' patented isolation technology to keep the noise floor low and prevent resonance from bleeding into the groove. The lineup spans four sizes to match different turntable footprints: the compact DELOS 1815 models (18"×15") use four isolators and support up to 65 lbs, while the larger DELOS 2216 models (22"×16") step up to six isolators and handle up to 100 lbs, giving room for larger plinths, outboard motors, or heavier direct-drive tables. Each size is also offered in a taller profile for setups that need extra clearance underneath.
