Crisp dialogue
Never miss a word. Fine-tuned with help from award-winning Hollywood sound engineers, Ray ensures you can always follow the story.

Brings the drama
Feel like you're at the center of it all. Split waveguides project sound from wall to wall, and advanced processing accurately positions elements in the room.

Designed to be tucked away
All the acoustic elements face forward to minimize interference from nearby surfaces so, even if you place it in your TV stand, Ray always sounds phenomenal.

Nothing gets in the way of your entertainment
The compact and understated design seamlessly blends into your home and won’t pull focus from what’s happening on screen.

Works with your TV
Connect Ray to virtually any TV, and use your existing remote to control the sound. For a next-level gaming setup, connect your PC.
TV or PC must have optical output. Compatible with an infrared-enabled TV remote.

Tailor your home theater experience with the Sonos app
Turn on Speech Enhancement for even clearer dialogue when characters whisper or the music swells. Turn on Night Sound to reduce the intensity of loud effects when you don't want to disturb anyone else at home.

No strings attached
Make game days, movie nights, and music more immersive when you add a pair of rear speakers for wireless surround sound.

Listen here, there, everywhere
Play your way with speakers in every room. Enjoy TV in the living room while you stream music in the bedroom, and group your system for whole-home listening.
The Sonos Ray is the entry point into Sonos' soundbar lineup, built for compact spaces like a shelf inside a TV stand where a larger soundbar wouldn't fit. Two tweeters and two high-efficiency midwoofers, driven by four class-D amplifiers, deliver forward-facing sound with crisp dialogue and solid bass, backed by a proprietary low-velocity Bass Reflex port that extends bass output without a subwoofer. It connects via optical cable rather than HDMI, so it works with any TV regardless of HDMI ARC support, and it handles Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround — though it does not support Dolby Atmos, making it better suited to stereo and standard surround content than full spatial audio. Trueplay tuning calibrates sound to the room (iOS required), and Speech Enhancement and Night Sound modes adjust dialogue clarity and dynamic range for late-night viewing. AirPlay 2 adds direct wireless streaming from Apple devices, and the whole thing is controlled through the Sonos app or an existing TV remote. Available in black or white, it's the practical, budget-friendly choice for anyone upgrading basic TV speakers without stepping up to Atmos-capable soundbars like the Beam or Arc.
