The Bowers & Wilkins AM-1 is a weather-resistant outdoor loudspeaker built to bring genuine hi-fi sound quality to a patio, garden, or backyard without a bulky enclosure. A fully sealed cabinet resists dust, moisture, and UV exposure, so it can stay mounted outdoors year-round, while a Nautilus tube-loaded 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter and 5-inch glassfiber cone driver — reinforced by an auxiliary bass radiator — deliver more low-end and detail than most compact outdoor speakers manage. A one-piece wall bracket rotates a full 220 degrees and mounts either vertically or horizontally, making it easy to angle the sound toward a seating area regardless of where it's placed on a wall. Rated for amplifiers between 20 and 100 watts into 8 ohms, it pairs easily with most AV receivers or outdoor amplifiers. At just over 12 inches tall and under 9 pounds, it stays compact without sacrificing output, and it's sold as a pair in matte black or matte white to blend into most outdoor spaces.
