The Sonos Sub 4 is a premium wireless subwoofer built to unlock the full power of a Sonos home theater system, adding deep, distortion-free bass down to 25Hz alongside a compatible soundbar like the Arc Ultra or Arc. Dual 5"x8" elliptical woofers use a force-cancelling design — mounted to counteract each other's vibration — virtually eliminating the distortion that plagues single-driver subwoofers, while a ported cabinet extends bass response further than a sealed enclosure alone. Trueplay tuning measures the room's acoustics and automatically adjusts the sound through the Sonos app, with manual bass, treble, and loudness controls available for further fine-tuning. It connects wirelessly over Wi-Fi, so there's no subwoofer cable to run from the soundbar, and its flexible form factor allows it to stand upright in a corner or lay flat under furniture depending on the space available. Available in black or white, it's built to pair with Sonos soundbars and speakers for a genuinely immersive surround sound experience rather than working as a standalone unit.
