Q What is the Audioquest Angel RCA cable and what is it used for?
It's a premium analog audio interconnect for connecting audio electronics via RCA connections. It uses solid silver conductors and a noise-dissipation system to minimize distortion and eliminate high-frequency interference for cleaner audio reproduction.
Q What are the conductors made of?
Solid Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) conductors, arranged in an Asymmetrical Double-Balanced configuration optimized for single-ended applications, providing lower ground impedance for more dynamic performance.
Q What noise-reduction technology does it use?
It features FEP Air-Tube insulation on the positive conductors, an intentionally "lossy" negative insulation for optimal grounding, a carbon-based 3-layer noise-dissipation system, and a 72-volt Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) with RF trap technology.
Q What lengths are available, and is it sold as a single cable or a pair?
It's sold as a stereo pair (both channels) in lengths of 0.6m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 8m, 12m, 16m, or 20m.
Q What are the connectors and cable jacket made of?
The connectors are cold-welded, direct-silver-plated red copper (with no nickel underlayer), and the cable is finished with a silver-on-black nylon braid jacket.
