Finished in an elegant machined dark chrome metal housing, the GAIA II incorporates IsoAcoustics’ patented design principles to deliver extraordinary acoustic results. GAIA II provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Superior isolation by design
With some isolation feet, the metal housing rests directly on the floor, creating a rigid path for vibrations to travel regardless of what is inside. GAIA isolators are different. Only the lower isolator makes contact with the surface, so vibrations are not transmitted through the housing. This design provides a controlled path for energy to dissipate, resulting in greater clarity, openness, and focus.
How to install GAIA II isolators
Optimal results are achieved by installing the GAIA isolators with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker’s motive forces. Lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.
The GAIA’s are threaded into the base of the speaker or subwoofer to replace the existing spikes or feet. Threading the GAIA’s into the base of the speaker creates a strong connection with the speaker. With the top of the GAIA housing connected with the speaker and the bottom of the GAIA connected to the supporting surface, all of the energy is then managed by the GAIA’s internal isolator.
The GAIA II includes thread adaptors for sizes M6-1.0, M8-1.25 and ¼”-20. Alternative thread size adaptors are available upon request through IsoAcoustics distributors.
The IsoAcoustics GAIA II is a set of four speaker isolation feet built for larger floor-standing speakers and subwoofers, sitting a step above the GAIA III with a machined dark chrome metal housing and a higher 120 lb weight capacity across the set. Like the rest of the GAIA line, it decouples the speaker from the floor rather than just spiking into it, resisting lateral movement and oscillation while attenuating internal reflections bouncing off a hard supporting surface. The result, according to IsoAcoustics, is improved sound clarity, a more stable stereo image, and a more three-dimensional, spatial soundstage compared to standard spikes or feet. It includes M6-1.0, M8-1.25, and ¼"-20 thread adapters to fit most speaker mounting points, with additional thread sizes available on request for less common models. At slightly larger dimensions and nearly double the load rating of the GAIA III, it's the right choice for heavier towers or larger subwoofer cabinets where the smaller GAIA III's 70 lb capacity isn't enough.
