The crucial element is the integrated isolators which use IsoAcoustics patented isolation technology. Q What is the IsoAcoustics zaZen Series and what is it used for?
It's an award-winning isolation platform line designed for turntables (including those with external motors), tube amplifiers, and other sensitive audio equipment, combining platform mass with integrated isolation technology to reduce vibration.
Q What model options are available, and how much weight do they support?
Two models — zaZen I (17"W x 15"D x 1.2"H, 25 lbs capacity) and zaZen II (17"W x 15"D x 1.4"H, 40 lbs capacity).
Q What are they made of?
Dense, void-free fiber construction with a medium gloss black finish.
Q How does the isolation technology work?
A three-part isolator system (top isolator, bottom isolator, and connector) that absorbs vibration without introducing resonance, reducing structure-borne noise and lowering the noise floor.
Q How is it set up?
It simply sits on a level surface — there's no height adjustment available, unlike some of IsoAcoustics' other isolation stands.
