As easy as plug and play
Simply plug in the power cable, connect your phone or tablet to WiFi, and open the Sonos app. Before you know it, you’re streaming music, radio, audiobooks, and more from all your favourite services.

Connect any device and every room
Use an auxiliary cable to connect your turntable, CD player, or computer to Five’s 3.5 mm audio input. Easily send sound to all the Sonos speakers in your home for a best-in-class multi-room listening experience.1

Outstanding on its own
Place Five horizontally and it automatically separates the left and right channels for full stereo sound. Position it vertically on either side and the digital processing adjusts to mono. The touch controls smartly adapt for any orientation.

Incomparable when paired
Make the sweet spot even sweeter with a stereo pair. Position both speakers vertically for an out-of-this-world focused listening experience or horizontally for a mind-blowingly expansive soundstage.

Wonderfully wireless
Stream high-resolution lossless audio from anywhere in your home over WiFi. Unlike with Bluetooth®, listen without interruptions from phone calls or dropouts from limited range.

Music comes standard
Discover free music and thousands of live stations from around the world on Sonos Radio. Find it in the Sonos app as soon as you set up your system.
The Sonos Five is a full-sized, high-fidelity wireless speaker built as Sonos' flagship standalone model, using six class-D amplifiers driving three tweeters and three midwoofers in a sealed cabinet to deliver vivid stereo separation, clean bass, and detailed vocals from a single unit. It automatically detects orientation, switching between true stereo when placed horizontally and mono when stood vertically, so it adapts to different room layouts without manual reconfiguration. Trueplay tuning (via iOS) calibrates the sound to the room's acoustics, and AirPlay 2 support adds direct streaming from Apple devices alongside standard Wi-Fi playback over 802.11a/b/g/n. Beyond wireless streaming, an Ethernet port and 3.5mm line-in give it wired connectivity options that smaller Sonos speakers typically skip, making it a practical hub for turntables or other analog sources. Two Five speakers can be paired together for an even wider stereo soundstage. Available in black or white, it's built for listeners who want serious hi-fi sound from a Sonos speaker rather than a compact smart speaker with voice assistant features.
