The Sonos Move 2 is a portable smart speaker built to move seamlessly between indoor and outdoor listening, backed by an IP56 rating that protects against dust and high-pressure water so it can handle a patio, backyard, or poolside setting without hesitation. A single mid-woofer and two angled tweeters, driven by three class-D amplifiers, deliver true stereo sound from one speaker, and automatic Trueplay tuning continually re-optimizes that sound as the speaker moves between rooms or outdoor spaces rather than requiring a manual recalibration each time. Battery life reaches up to 24 hours per charge, and a built-in carry handle makes it easy to relocate around the house or yard. It connects over Wi-Fi 6 or Bluetooth 5.3, with USB-C and an optional line-in adapter for wired sources, and it responds to both Sonos Voice Control and Amazon Alexa for hands-free control. Two units can be stereo paired for a wider soundstage.
